Lil Meech’s Legal Team Slams Celina Powell Over Relationship Claims, Says She’s Caused ‘Substantial Reputational Harm’ To The “BMF” Star
#LilMeech has involved his attorneys in an effort to silence Celina Powell.
The #BMF star’s legal team is pushing back against #CelinaPowell’s recent claims about their relationship, issuing a demand for an immediate retraction after her appearance on the “We In Miami” podcast. During the interview, Celina alleged Meech confided that he wanted to go public but feared fallout over her reputation, saying, “I really wish I could publicly be with you, but I’m an actor… It’s gonna f*ck up [my] reputation because of who you are.”
If you recall, Celina recently leaked audio of #Meech begging her to delete the receipts she posted after he said their rumored relationship was “cap.” Even crazier, the two were allegedly spotted together afterward.
Whatever their relationship status may be, Meech clearly wasn’t here for Celina addressing him during the podcast interview. His legal team sent a notice to the controversial model and the pod series, asserting the statements are false and damaging. The notice reads, “Ms. Powell falsely claimed an ongoing romantic relationship with the Claimant and referenced alleged past interactions that are entirely untrue.” It adds that Powell’s remarks were made “with actual malice and reckless disregard for the truth,” causing “substantial reputational harm” to Meech.
Celina has not yet publicly responded, but she’s never been one to back down when challenged.
