Idris Elba Set To Reprise His Lead Role For “Luther” Movie Sequel

Veteran actor #IdrisElba is set to reprise his role as DCI #JohnLuther in a brand-new sequel film at Netflix, marking the next chapter of the acclaimed TV franchise Luther, which originally debuted in 2010. The first movie, Luther: The Fallen Sun, followed in 2023.
According to the new announcement, Elba returns with writer-creator Neil Cross behind the script and directors/production team aligned once again to expand Luther’s world. Full plot details of the sequel are under wraps at this time.
