Diddy Hit w/ New Setback As Release Date Reportedly Gets Pushed Back Amid Reports Of
Rule Violations
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will be behind bars for a little longer than expected.
The embattled music executive was originally set to be released on May 8, 2028, but now the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate records list his release as June 4, 2028. Diddy, who was sentenced to 50 months behind bars after his conviction in July, is alleged to have violated prison rules during his time at FCI Fort Dix in #NewJersey. While the bureau hasn’t officially stated the exact reason for the date shift, the delay in his freedom comes after he was accused of drinking, intimidating alleged victims, and violating phone rules while incarcerated.
Speaking on the claims, a rep defended #Diddy to PEOPLE, saying: “There have been several false and reckless reports circulating about Mr. Combs. He has not violated any prison rules. His sobriety and self-discipline are priorities, and he is taking them seriously.” They added about the reported three-way call, which is against prison rules, “The phone call he was on was initiated by an attorney and it was attorney client privilege and appropriate.”
