#TJBCrew, please continue to keep Dr. Gabrielle Henry in your prayers.
The beauty queen, representing #Jamaica in the #MissUniverse 2025 pageant, is still recovering in the hospital after a severe fall from the stage during the preliminary evening gown round in Thailand last week. As reported, she was rushed to medical care following the incident.
Raúl Rocha, President of the Miss Universe Organization, released a statement today (Nov. 24) on the unfortunate situation, saying: “Out of respect for Dr Henry and her family, the Organization maintains strict discretion regarding specific details of her medical status.” He shared that “Immediate action” was taken as he personally entered the stage, coordinated her urgent transfer to hospital and “oversaw her immediate transfer to the hospital.”
Rocha also confirmed the organization has covered “100%” of Henry’s medical expenses. He concluded by saying, “Today, we are pleased to share that Dr Gabrielle Henry is in good health and nearing discharge.” The organisation noted her sister and mother remain by her side and asked for continued respect for the family’s privacy during her recovery.
