Kash Doll Speaks Out After Promoter Claims She Skipped Out On Booking To Perform At “The Boy Is Mine” Tour: You Should Have Had My Money
#KashDoll wants fans to know she didn’t intentionally skip out on meeting them at Harpos in Detroit.
A promoter recently accused the rapper of breaching an agreement, alleging that instead of attending the scheduled appearance, Kash hit the stage at Brandy and Monica’s #TheBoyIsMine tour. The accusation sparked backlash online, with one fan writing on Facebook, “I like Kash Doll…but it seems like she is always associated with shady business moves. How are you No Call No Show for your own concert, then you go perform for free at LCA with Brandy & Monica the same night???”
In response, Kash posted a video apologizing to those who planned to see her but explained that the contract was never finalized and she never received payment for the event. She also criticized the promoter for booking an appearance on the same night as a major tour and for going online to make “distasteful” comments about her.
Do you think Kash Doll was in the wrong, or did the promoter jump the gun?
