Lil Duval Claims Millennials Are ‘Traumatized’ By The HIV Crisis While Today’s Generation ‘Dances With It’
Lil Duval sparked a viral conversation this week after posting a blunt — and darkly humorous — reflection on how attitudes toward HIV and AIDS have changed over the decades.
“If u grew up in the 80’s and 90’s you’re traumatized by HIV and AIDS cuz back then if caught it it was an automatic death sentence. Now yall just living and dancing wit it like they do on them viargra commercials,” he tweeted, adding a laughing emoji.
Social media lit up instantly, with some agreeing that the fear was real, while others felt the comedian’s comparison was insensitive. Either way, Duval’s tweet definitely struck a nerve.
Did Duval go too far?
