Former Nickelodeon Child Star Tylor Chase Found Homeless In Devastating Viral Video
Former Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide actor Tylor Chase has been seen living homeless in Riverside, California.
A video, which was filmed in September and went viral after recently resurfacing, showed him in a disheveled state interacting with a passerby.
The 36-year-old, known for his role as Martin Qwerly on the early 2000s #Nickelodeon series, became the focus of widespread concern and mixed reactions online as viewers expressed shock at his current condition. Some criticized the person who filmed the footage, while others directly voiced their sympathy, with one viewer writing, “This actually breaks my heart,” and another adding, “This made me so sad.”
In response to the viral attention, a GoFundMe was briefly launched in September and raised more than $1,200, but Chase’s mother shut it down, explaining that financial donations wouldn’t help her son. She said, “Tylor needs medical attention not money. But he refuses it,” and noted that he struggles to manage money or personal belongings such as phones.
