NFL Star Dak Prescott Gets Teammates Together To Give Christmas Bonuses To Cowboys Staff: ‘Don’t Be Cheap’
We love to see it!
In a recent episode of Hard Knocks In Season with the NFC East, #DallasCowboys quarterback #DakPrescott led an initiative to ensure the team’s behind-the-scenes staff felt appreciated this holiday season. Prescott gathered his teammates to organize annual #Christmas bonuses, pooling their money to support those who assist with daily operations, from equipment managers to those who hold practice dummies.
The 32-year-old veteran emphasized that while players and coaches are well-compensated, many support staff members deserve extra recognition for their hard work. “However, these other people that do a lot for us, we want to help contribute to them, just to say thank you,” Prescott explained. He encouraged his fellow players to be generous with the staff members they work with most closely, ultimately telling the group, “Don’t be cheap.”
Beyond financial gestures, the #Cowboys have also been active in the community this December. Despite being out of the playoff race, Prescott and teammates like #TrevonDiggs spent time visiting North Texas children’s hospitals to spread holiday cheer, including a viral moment where a young fan named Case was overwhelmed with excitement upon meeting the NFL stars.
