Blueface Now Owes Over $131K After Judge Orders His Music Royalties Seized In Explosive Defamation Case Involving Soulja Boy’s Child
Blueface may be losing a big bag!
A costly legal setback is now following Blueface as a defamation judgment against the rapper continues to grow with interest.
According to My News LA, Blueface owes more than $130,000 stemming from a default judgment tied to a defamation lawsuit filed by Jackilyn Martinez. Court records show Martinez submitted writs of execution to sheriffs in Los Angeles and Sacramento counties on December 24, revealing the total amount owed has reached $131,655.
The case centers on online claims Blueface allegedly made suggesting he was the biological father of Martinez’s child with Soulja Boy. Martinez denied the allegation, stating she had not been intimate with Blueface since 2018.
Judge Peter Hernandez previously ordered that royalties collected through BMI and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers on Blueface’s behalf be redirected to Martinez to satisfy the judgment. The original award totaled $123,245, including $100,000 for pain and suffering.
Blueface has reportedly failed to participate in the case.
Should Blue pay up and get it over with?
