Michael Jackson’s Daughter Paris Gets Real About Struggles Behind Very Hard’ 6-Year Sobriety Journey
#ParisJackson is taking life one day at a time.
The daughter of music legend #MichaelJackson is marking six years of sobriety from alcohol and hero!n this week. In an Instagram Reel shared with her nearly 6 million followers, Paris reflected on how challenging the journey has been even well after getting clean and offered a candid reminder that recovery isn’t a sign that everything suddenly becomes easy. As she put it, “getting sober ain’t always the indication that life is perfect… I had to learn to live life on life’s terms.” Paris, now 27, also spoke openly about ongoing mental-health struggles, writing, “treatment resistant major depressive disorder is a b*tch. so is CPSTD. and OCD… if no one’s told you they love you today, i love you.”
This isn’t the first time Paris has addressed her troubling past. In a video shared in November, the actress opened up on how dr*g use has perforated her septum. She warned, “I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose….That is from what you think it’s from.” She added, “Don’t do dr*gs, kids.”
