Fivio Foreign Admits He Wasted Years ‘Being Smacked’ + Credits Sobriety w/ Changing His Life
Fivio Foreign is stepping into 2026 with a clearer mind—and a whole new outlook on life.
In late December, the Brooklyn rapper revealed plans to enter rehab, explaining that he wanted to “stop making a lot of dumb decisions.”
He also asked fans for support, saying in an Instagram reel, “I want y’all to support me and I want y’all to [be with] me through this journey,” while noting that his treatment would cost $10,000.
On Wednesday, Fivio shared an update on X, writing, “Sobriety help me realize how much time I was wasting on being smacked.. I deada** got mad time on my hands now.”
Earlier this month, he said sobriety has brought him closer to family life, while also causing “psychological withdrawal.” He previously credited his wife, Jasmine Giselle, for motivating him to improve.
What are your thoughts on Fivio’s sobriety journey?
