Trump Describes Very Good Call’ w/ Gov. Tim Walz As Tensions Over ICE Operations Mount In Minnesota
President Donald Trump and Minnesota Gov. #TimWalz are looking for common ground.
Taking to his social platform, Trump shared that “Governor Tim Walz called me with the request to work together with respect to Minnesota.”
He continued, “It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength. … He was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I!”
According to Walz’s office, the governor used the call to push for independent investigations into recent fatal sh**tings involving ICE officers and to urge a reduction in the number of federal agents operating in #Minnesota. The conversation comes after the recent de@th of ICU nurse #AlexPretti. Footage captured by witnesses shows Pretti was attacked by ICE agents and then fatally sh*t after stepping in to help a woman who was being pepper-sprayed.
