Donald Trump Praises Nicki Minaj As A ‘Fantastic Winner’ + Claims She’s Been A Supporter ‘From The Beginning’
Donald Trump had glowing praise for Nicki Minaj while attending the premiere of “Melania,” documentary centered on First Lady Melania Trump’s preparations for a second White House term.
Speaking with Fox News Digital at the event, Trump openly applauded the rap superstar’s presence and continued political support.
“Nicki Minaj is fantastic,” Trump said. “She’s a terrific person. She was so nice, and she understands, you know, what we’re doing with the Trump accounts. We’re helping children grow up where they’re 18 years old. They’re going to have a lot of money. They’re going to be rich. And she got it. She’s been a supporter from the beginning. And I think Nicki Minaj is a winner. Fantastic.”
Minaj has increasingly aligned herself with Trump, previously appearing at a U.S. Treasury Department summit promoting Trump Accounts, a financial initiative for newborn Americans.
“Well, I don’t know what to say, but I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan,” Minaj said at the summit. “And that’s not going to change.”
