Ray J Accused Of Staging ‘Bleeding Eyes’ Moment w/ Fake Blood During Valentine’s Day Show, Photographer Claims
A photographer who worked Ray J’s Valentine’s Day concert is alleging the singer used fake blood for shock value during his now-viral performance.
Tommy Nard II claims he watched the 45-year-old entertainer apply what appeared to be fake blood backstage before taking the stage at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on February 14.
The dramatic show came shortly after Ray J publicly stated that doctors told him he may only have months to live.
“He loves the camera. He loves the attention. Anybody that knows him, it’s all theatrical,” Nard II said.
The photographer also recalled his confusion while witnessing the moment unfold. “I’m behind the scenes, like, ‘What are you doing?’ ” he said.
“I seen him literally put on the fake blood and things like that, and go out there with the crowd, which is very shocking that he’d do something like that,” Nard II continued.
Ray J’s manager, Melinda Santiago, denied the claims in a statement, insisting, “The bottom line is Ray J has been in and out of the hospital dealing with health and heart issues. That is a fact.”
She added, “It’s absurd that a local videographer (not our team) would want to clout chase for five min of fame off of Ray J name and play about Ray being sick is sick in itself.”
What are your thoughts on Ray J’s alleged stunts?
