T-Pain Explains Why He’s Been M.I.A. & Canceled His Tour: ‘I Just Want To Be Left Alone’
T-Pain is unapologetically putting himself first.
The rapper explained to fans and friends why he’s been missing and canceled several upcoming events, including a tour, in an Instagram video post captioned, “Burnout is absolutely real. Go recharge your emotional, social, and mental batteries while you still can enjoy full power.” In the clip, #TPain said he’s intentionally not texting people back because he’s been “saying yes to everything” and hasn’t had a chance to relax over the past two years. He also addressed his absence on #Twitch, telling his streaming supporters, “I just needed peace.”
The Buy U A Drank artist shared he’s been spending time on personal projects, like repairing a car for joy, and only fulfilling the few bookings he’s contractually required to attend. “It sounds real b*tchy, but I just want to be left alone, for a while,” he added.
#TJBCrew, can you relate to T-Pain’s much-needed break from life’s demands?
