NBA Star Trae Young Speaks Out After Getting Ejected Ahead Of Washington Wizards Debut: ‘Bringing That Energy & Competitiveness When I’m Back’
You really can’t keep #TraeYoung down for long.
The four-time NBA All-Star managed to get himself ejected from a Washington Wizards game before he even played a minute in their uniform. Trae, who was acquired from the #AtlantaHawks in early January and has been sidelined by injuries, stepped onto the court during Monday’s 123-118 loss to the Houston Rockets to argue with an official about a non-call in the third quarter and was hit with a technical and tossed. Houston’s forward Tari Eason was also ejected in the same sequence of events.
Trae later addressed the incident on social media, writing, “Don’t expect me to get ejected too many more times D.C… but I’m definitely bringing that energy & competitiveness when I’m back for my brothers!”
He has been targeting Thursday’s game against the Utah Jazz for his first appearance with the #Wizards while recuperating from MCL and quad injuries that have kept him out since December.
