Ray J Warns Snoop Dogg: People Say You’re Turning Into Suge Knight

Ray J is speaking out — and his message for Snoop Dogg is raising eyebrows.

During a recent post, the singer and reality star claimed he’s been hearing chatter from people close to them comparing the West Coast rap icon to former Death Row Records boss Suge Knight.

Ray J didn’t mince words, telling Snoop directly that people are starting to say he’s “turning into Suge Knight,” a reference to the controversial music executive who famously ran Death Row Records during the height of the label’s dominance in the 1990s.

The comments appear to stem from recent discussions around Snoop Dogg’s leadership moves and business decisions since acquiring the iconic Death Row Records brand in 2022 — a deal that returned the legendary label to West Coast hands decades after its original run.

Neither Snoop Dogg nor anyone from his camp has publicly responded to Ray J’s remarks, but the moment has already added another layer of drama to ongoing conversations about the legacy — and future — of Death Row.
