Jay-Z Set To Headline Roots Picnic At New Philadelphia Venue

#JayZ is taking his talents to Philly!

The hip-hop heavyweight is set to headline this year’s #RootsPicnic. The festival will take place at a new venue in Philadelphia, marking a shift for the longtime event created by #TheRoots. Over the weekend, event organizers revealed the new location online, sharing, “Roots Picnic family! We are coming back to Philadelphia on May 30 & 31 for the first time ever at the BELMONT PLATEAU.”

The new scenery reportedly follows several complaints from fans who attended the 2025 summer festival at The Mann. At this time, others on the performing lineup have yet to be revealed. Presale tickets are already on sale, and a general sale will be available at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
