Bravoverse stars are teaming up for a good cause.

RHOA’s #NeNeLeakes and #PhaedraParks, Candiace Dillard Bassett of Potomac, Erika Jayne of Beverly Hills, Melissa Gorga of New Jersey, Marysol Patton of Miami, and Luann de Lesseps of New York City took their spotlight from reality TV to Capitol Hill Wednesday for “Housewives on the Hill.” The advocacy event aimed to urge lawmakers to protect federal funding for HIV prevention and treatment programs.

Several states, along with Washington, D.C., are facing criticism for significant cuts to drug assistance programs for people living with HIV and AIDS. Marysol addressed how many are now at risk of losing life-saving medications, such as PrEP, due to rising health care costs and the expiration of Affordable Care Act subsidies. “When programs like ADAP are weakened, working-class people can’t access this treatment,” she said.

Speaking with The Post, Phaedra emphasized that, despite what might happen on television, the ladies take this matter seriously. “While we might fight on television, outside of the cameras we are moms… Some of us crazy. But at the end of the day, when we are passionate about anything, we go full force.” Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) praised the #Housewives for coming to the Capitol, adding, “We are in a very dark time and here we have people standing up and saying, in a dark time, I’m going to shine my light brighter.”
