College Basketball Star JuJu Watkins Set To Release First Nike Signature Shoe This Summer
It’s almost time for #JuJuWatkins’ first signature shoe to hit the courts.
ICYMI: USC guard JuJu Watkins confirmed earlier this year that she’s launching her first #Nike signature basketball shoe, the LeBron NXXT Gen by JuJu “Silver Lining.” She’s the first athlete to have a signature model under Nike’s LeBron NXXT brand, a project she developed in collaboration with Lakers star #LeBronJames. The design is full of personal touches, including a quilted flower pattern inside the collar and tongue, plus a “By JuJu” doodle on the back of the tongue. The “Silver Lining” theme reflects her knack for finding positives in challenges, like overcoming injuries.
Thanks to a recent report from The Athletic, we now know the shoe is slated to drop this summer. #LeBron already debuted it during last month’s Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game, and JuJu recently gifted a pair to her USC teammates.
#TJBCrew, do you plan on getting a pair once JuJu’s shoe drops?
