Nick Cannon Calls Democrats “Party of the KKK” – Praises Trump, Says He’s “Cleaning House”
Media personality Nick Cannon is stirring controversy after sharing blunt political takes during a recent episode of his web talk show “Big Drive.”
During the conversation — first reported by TMZ — Cannon referred to the Democratic Party as “the party of the KKK” while agreeing with guest Amber Rose, who claimed Democrats “don’t care about people of color and the Republicans do.”
Cannon doubled down on the remarks, telling Rose, “I agree with you 100%,” before adding, “People don’t know that the Democrats are the party of the KKK… People don’t know that the Republicans are the party that freed the slaves.” He also made it clear he doesn’t align with either party, saying he “doesn’t subscribe to either party” and referencing W.E.B. Du Bois’ view that there is “no such thing as two parties.”
The conversation then turned to Donald Trump, where Cannon voiced support for his leadership, saying Trump is “motherf—er’s cleaning house” and “doing what he said he was gonna do.”
He continued with additional commentary, adding, “We got the Gulf of America now,” and comparing Trump to a club owner, saying, “He’s like the club. He’s charging a $5 million bottle service fee to get into the country.”
The remarks arrive alongside broader historical context noted in the report, including the origins of both major political parties and their roles in U.S. history — a backdrop that’s now fueling debate online as Cannon’s comments continue to circulate.
