Jake Paul Considering Releasing Blackface Video In Response To Druski’s Conservative Women Skit: ‘Are We On The Same Playing Field?’
#JakePaul might have a blackface video hitting the timeline soon.
During a recent chat with media personality #TheoVon, the YouTuber-turned-boxer said he’s been trying to track down a makeup artist willing to transform him into a Black person “because, why not.” Jake said the idea is his response to Druski’s viral skit portraying a conservative white woman. “Are we on the same playing field?” Jake questioned. While Theo didn’t offer much pushback, he did note that there “needs to be some Black support” for the video to be received well by the masses.
However, Jake pushed back on that idea, saying being backed by someone in the Black community would be “p*ssy’n out” and not fully committing to the bit. “Doesn’t that make us more prejudice if we have to partner with someone? …I don’t see in color, I see in truth and comedy,” he said. Jake also shared that he loved #Druski’s skit, adding, “This is how humans should be. We should f*cking make fun of each other.” He did not reveal when he would release the skit, nor who he plans to parody.
#TJBCrew, what do you think about Jake’s POV?
