Taj Jackson is speaking out as renewed media attention surrounding Michael Jackson continues ahead of the highly anticipated “Michael” biopic.
The singer and nephew of the late King of Pop took to social media to accuse tabloids and online critics of attempting to overshadow the film’s global momentum with negative narratives.
“Can’t help but notice that the negative press, trolls, and tabloids are desperately ramping up their BS stories and lies about my uncle to try and sabotage all the positive publicity the ‘Michael’ Movie is getting around the world,” Taj wrote.
He continued urging fans not to engage with the content, adding, “Please don’t contribute to their failing agenda. Don’t help them or their algorithm by clicking or reposting their lies.”
