Offset Speaks Out After Florida Sh**ting Linked To Lil Tjay: ‘Life’s A Gamble & I’m Still Playing To Win’
Rapper Offset is speaking out after surviving a recent sh**ting at a Florida casino, sharing a message of resilience as he begins his recovery.
“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love,” he wrote in a statement on Instagram. “I’m good … but I’m planning to be better! I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music … realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses … Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”
A spokesperson confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the former Migos member has been released from the hospital and is “up and walking.” Early images following the incident showed him using a mobility device in a hospital courtyard.
Authorities arrested Lil Tjay, born Tione Jayden Merritt, in connection with the sh**ting. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
The incident comes years after Takeoff was fatally sh*t in 2022.
