Caitlyn Jenner Calls Herself A ‘Hypocrite’ For Accepting 2015 “Woman Of The Year” Award As A Trans Woman

#CaitlynJenner has done a little self-reflection.

The former Olympian and conservative activist has labeled herself a “hypocrite” for accepting Glamour’s “Woman of the Year” award in 2015 while later becoming a vocal critic of trans women competing in women’s sports. In a recent interview, Caitlyn revisited the moment she received the award and said it conflicted with her current views, especially her stance on sports eligibility for #transgender athletes.

Speaking about her evolving position, Caitlyn said, “Here I am fighting the battle to keep biological men out of women’s sports because it’s not right,” and added, “And I thought, ‘What a hypocrite I am.’” Caitlyn, formerly #BruceJenner, came out as a trans woman just months before she was honored by Glamour. During the interview, she also pointed to her biological makeup in explaining her discomfort with the award, stating, “I’m still XY. Biologically, I’m female. But genetically, I’m still XY. There’s nothing I can do about that.”

#TJBCrew, do you agree with Caitlyn’s stance?
