Future Dragged Into New Paternity Battle As Ex Demands Back Child Support For Alleged
9-Year-Old Son
Future is once again dealing with a legal battle over paternity, as a woman has taken him to court over a child she says is his.
Layla Sanad recently filed a lawsuit in Florida seeking to establish that the rapper is the father of her 9-year-old son. In her filing, she claims the two were romantically involved and that their child, identified as K.W., was born in 2017. She also alleges that Future previously acknowledged paternity.
Sanad is asking the court to formally confirm paternity and award child support, including two years of retroactive payments.
However, the case may not stay in Florida. Earlier this year, Future requested that the matter be dismissed or moved, arguing Arizona is the proper jurisdiction since Sanad and the child reportedly reside there. He also pointed out that he has already initiated legal proceedings in that state.
In those Arizona filings, Future acknowledged fathering a son named Kash Wilburn and stated he has been voluntarily providing $3,500 per month in support.
What are your thoughts on this latest paternity drama involving Future?
