Big Sean Shares Message For Those Who Pray & Maintain A Relationship With God
Big Sean is getting reflective — and dropping a word for anyone who’s been praying for more.
The rapper recently took to social media to share a candid message about faith, reminding followers that the very things they ask God for often come with challenges they don’t always anticipate. According to Big Sean, it’s easy to get caught up in frustration without realizing those moments are tied to answered prayers.
“So remember that whatever it is you praying for, just remember all that comes attached with it,” he said in the video. “A lot of us [are] living beautiful lives and we get caught up in the details and the hardships and the unexpected craziness that comes with everything you ask for.”
He went on to break it down with a real-life example, pointing to parenthood. While children are widely seen as a blessing, he noted they also come with sleepless nights, financial responsibility, and added stress — things people don’t always consider when praying for them.
“Obviously, kids are the biggest blessing, right? But it also costs more money. You get less sleep… things that could be frustrating,” he explained. “But it’s what you pray for.”
Big Sean closed his message by encouraging people to shift their perspective, suggesting that many are already living in the very blessings they once asked for — they just don’t recognize it yet.
“Some of us, we don’t even realize that we’re living in the middle of our blessing,” he added. can you relate?
