Kenya Moore Announces Hair Spa Closure After Videos Surface Of Business Being Vacated-Promises ‘New Era’ After Landlord Dispute
Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore says she has officially vacated her Atlanta hair salon as a legal dispute with her landlord continues.
Moore addressed the closure in a statement, saying, “I have spent the last several weeks moving out of my salon as a result of my ongoing legal battle with the landlord who has failed to reimburse me nearly $80K of improvement funds I am rightfully owed. My only recourse was to withhold rent and file a countersuit. I already have my outfit laid out for court chile!”
She also thanked clients for their support and hinted at future plans, calling the move the start of a “new era” and telling supporters to stay tuned.
The statement comes after reports that a Georgia judge ordered Moore’s company, Moore Vision Media, to pay nearly $88,000 in unpaid rent and utilities through two separate payments of about $44,000 each. The ruling also reportedly required continued monthly rent payments of roughly $5,500 unless the business vacated the property.
The salon, Kenya Moore Hair Spa, opened in 2024. Moore has denied wrongdoing in court filings, alleging the landlord failed to complete promised improvements to the space. The dispute remains ongoing.
