Actress Jenifer Lewis appeared to take aim at Hollywood elites attending the Met Gala while reacting to the lavish fashion event in a video shared on Instagram.
In the clip, Lewis seemingly referenced billionaire Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sánchez, stating, “They cut nearly 30,000 jobs and gutted The Washington Post,” before criticizing what she described as misplaced priorities among celebrities and public figures.
Lewis continued by calling out ongoing funding cuts impacting “children’s nutrition,” adding that “there they all were, vying for the next position.”
