Chris Brown Responds To Criticism Surrounding New Album
Chris Brown is keeping it honest about the reaction to his latest album.
The singer recently took to Instagram Stories to thank fans for listening to the project while also acknowledging the criticism and mixed reviews surrounding it. In his message, Chris made it clear that while not everyone may love the album right away, he believes his music tends to connect with listeners over time.
“Just wanna say thank you to everyone who listened to this album,” he wrote. “Been a lot of mixed reviews and I can take my audience’s criticism and opinions.”
Chris also pointed out that this isn’t the first time one of his albums has received a divided response initially. According to the singer, several of his recent projects eventually found their audience after release.
“The last 3 albums have came under the same scrutiny and it eventually grew on people,” he continued. “Thank you for even taking the time out to listen ??”
What do you think — do albums grow on listeners over time, or should fans know instantly if a project is good?
