Netflix To Add “The Breakfast Club” As First Daily Live Show
#Netflix is stepping further into live content, and it’s bringing a major cultural staple along for the ride.
The streaming giant announced it will begin airing #TheBreakfastClub as its first-ever daily live show, with episodes set to stream on weekdays starting June 1. Hosted by Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, and Jess Hilarious, the nearly three-hour morning program will air simultaneously on Netflix and radio.
The move expands Netflix’s partnership with iHeartMedia and reflects a broader push into live, recurring programming as streaming platforms look to build daily viewing habits. Netflix viewers will get an enhanced experience, including uninterrupted episodes with behind-the-scenes footage and bonus segments that air during radio commercial breaks, while iHeartMedia will continue to handle the audio version across radio stations and its app.
