Fans Think Megan Thee Stallion Addressed Klay Thompson Split With “Cheating” Lyric
Megan Thee Stallion has fans dissecting her latest lyrics after the rapper appeared to address a recent breakup on Bossman Dlow’s newly released “Motion Party (Remix).”
On the track, Megan raps, “If I catch a n***a cheating on me, it’s deuces,” before adding, “Thought he did the big one ’til he met the biggest.” The bars immediately caught listeners’ attention, with many on social media speculating that the lyrics could be a reference to her reported split from NBA star Klay Thompson.
While Megan never mentions Thompson by name, fans quickly connected the dots and flooded social media with theories about who may have inspired the verse. Screenshots of the lyrics spread across X within hours of the song’s release, fueling conversation about the former couple.
Others, however, cautioned against jumping to conclusions, noting that Megan has built much of her music career around confidence, independence, and moving on from relationships that no longer serve her. As of now, neither Megan nor Thompson has publicly addressed the speculation.
Do you think Megan was sending a message to Klay Thompson, or are fans reading too much into the lyrics?
