Trigger Warning! Kentucky Football Player Nic Smith’s D*ath Ruled Su*cide Days After His Body Was Found In Campus Dorm
The University of Kentucky community is mourning a heartbreaking loss after new details were released in the d*ath of Wildcats football player Nic Smith.
According to a Fayette County Coroner’s Office report obtained by Us Weekly, Smith d*ed by su*cide. He was 20. His body was found inside a University of Kentucky dormitory on June 8, with his time of d*ath listed as 10:40 a.m.
Smith, a defensive lineman from Loganville, Georgia, joined Kentucky after playing football and basketball at Walnut Grove High School. He redshirted during his freshman season and was studying community leadership and development. Around the program, he was affectionately known as “Happy.”
Back in April, Smith lost his sister, Keitlynn, which he’d previously mourned in social media posts.
