Kelly Rowland Refuses To Share Details About Her Upcoming Album While Praising Beyoncé And Rihanna’s ‘Quality’ Of Surprise Drops: I Just Want It To Happen
Kelly Rowland is choosing mystery over rollout as fans wait for her next album.
During a recent interview with VIBE, the Grammy-winning singer opened up about working on new music, but made it clear she is not ready to hand over a title, release date, tracklist, or sound direction. For Rowland, the surprise is part of the experience, especially in a world where nearly everything is announced, teased, dissected, and shared before it even arrives.
“I have no details just yet. I think everything in the world is just said, it’s seen, it’s everything. I don’t wanna tell. I don’t. I just want it to happen,” she explained.
Rowland then praised the “quality” she admires in Beyoncé and Rihanna.
“It’s a quality I love about Beyoncé. It’s a quality I love about Rihanna. They’re like, ‘yes, yes, we’re doing it. It’s done. It’s out.’”
Her last full-length studio album, “Talk a Good Game,” was released in June 2013.
Are you looking forward to seeing what Kelly has in store?
