Love To See It! French Montana Helps Raise Over $29K For Cab Driver Whose Taxi Was Destroyed During Knicks Celebration
#FrenchMontana is going the extra mile as a good Samaritan.
After footage surfaced showing a cab driver’s taxi being destroyed amid the chaos following the #Knicks’ NBA Finals victory, French Montana asked his followers to help connect him with the driver, later identified as 59-year-old Noureddine. French, alongside popular TikToker Zachery Dereniowski and the New York Taxi Workers Alliance, then teamed up to launch a GoFundMe for Noureddine.
According to the fundraiser, the situation went beyond property damage, with claims that Noureddine was also “a$$aulted and dragged from his vehicle.” The initial goal of the #GoFundMe was reportedly set at $25,000 to help him recover and get back on the road — a target that was quickly surpassed, with donations climbing to nearly $30,000. The goal has since been increased to $50,000.
