Kevin Durant’s Boardroom Signs Podcast Deal With Amazon’s Wondery, Expanding Shows Featuring Taylor Rooks & Speedy Morman
Kevin Durant is continuing to expand his business portfolio beyond basketball.
The NBA star’s media company, Boardroom, has signed a new partnership with Wondery, Amazon’s podcast studio and network. The agreement will help grow Boardroom’s podcast division by bringing its slate of shows to Wondery’s distribution and advertising platform, allowing the content to reach listeners across Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major podcast services.
Founded by Durant and longtime business partner Rich Kleiman, Boardroom launched in 2019 as a platform covering the intersection of sports, business, entertainment, and culture. Since then, the company has evolved into a multimedia brand featuring original reporting, video content, live events, and a growing roster of podcasts.
The move could also boost the visibility of Boardroom personalities including journalist Taylor Rooks and media host Speedy Morman, who have become recognizable faces of the brand through interviews and original content. According to the announcement, the partnership is designed to help Boardroom scale its podcast network while creating opportunities for new shows and expanded programming.
“Boardroom has always been about meaningful conversations and access,” Kleiman said in a statement announcing the deal. “Partnering with Wondery allows us to bring those conversations to even more listeners around the world.”
The latest agreement marks another major business milestone for Durant, whose off-court ventures have increasingly made headlines alongside his basketball career. As athlete-led media companies continue to grow, Boardroom’s partnership with Wondery positions the brand for its next phase of expansion in the competitive podcast industry.
