The R&B singer sounded off on comments Thug made last year, where he said he has no issue with gay people, but would feel deceived if someone came out later in life. August admitted that he took Thug’s remarks personally, telling fans during the live stream, “It’s time to start calling out stupid…that’s a dumb*ss take. That’s dumb.” He didn’t stop there either — August went on to question why the LGBTQ+ community is even on Thug’s radar, suggesting there’s a lot more the rapper could be focused on than someone else’s sexuality.
