The gospel star nearly got into a physical altercation with a man on the street who was loudly urging him to repent, or else. The tense moment went down ahead of the Gospel on Independence concert at Independence Mall, which was later postponed due to weather. Video shows Kirk initially tried to de-escalate the situation, even offering the man a hug. But things quickly took a turn when the man dragged Tammy into it, yelling for Kirk to repent before he and his wife go to hell. That’s when things got heated — Kirk appeared visibly upset and had to be held back as he tried to approach the man. He was pulled away from the crowd, and the man dipped out shortly after.
