Big Tigger Steps Away From The Mic Amid Ongoing Legal Battle, Says Being Away From His Son ‘Hurts The Most’
Big Tigger Steps Away From The Mic Amid Ongoing Legal Battle, Says Being Away From His Son ‘Hurts The Most’
Big Tigger is temporarily stepping away from the microphone as he continues to navigate his ongoing legal battle.
The veteran radio personality shared a statement on social media Sunday, telling followers that while he’s spent decades shining a light on the culture and the people he’s interviews, his own personal life has now become the subject of “overwhelming speculation and misinformation.”
According to Big Tigger, the most difficult part of the situation has been being away from his son. He said nothing is more important to him than being “a great father,” adding that he’s decided to step away from work for a while so he can focus on his family while giving his legal team the room they need to handle the case. He also reiterated that he “unequivocally” denies every allegation against him and looks forward to clearing his name.
As previously reported, Big Tigger’s legal troubles have unfolded publicly in recent weeks. Most recently, his wife, Alicia Brown, responded after his V-103 co-host Francesca Amiker filed a federal defamation lawsuit accusing Brown of falsely portraying her as Big Tigger’s “mistress” and “homewrecker.” Through her legal and public relations team, Brown declined to address the allegations directly, saying she had been advised by counsel not to comment while multiple legal matters remain pending. Her representatives added that “the receipts, including text messages, evidence, and the legal process will speak for themselves.”
Big Tigger closed his latest message by thanking supporters for their love and encouragement as he works to clear his name.
