NBA YoungBoy Appears To Threaten Future In New Song, Calls Rap Icon An “Old A N****”**

NBA YoungBoy has the internet buzzing after unloading on Future in his new song “What Da What,” delivering a series of fiery lyrics that many fans are calling one of his most direct attacks yet against the Atlanta rap veteran.

On the track, YoungBoy doesn’t appear interested in subtlety. Among the bars drawing the most attention, the Baton Rouge rapper spits, “F*ck you, you old a btch,”** before later adding, “Hatin a n***, ima villain. Old a** n****, ima catch ya bad n stretch ya.”** The song also includes references to younger artists allegedly willing to handle his problems for free, further fueling conversation online about the escalating tension between the two rappers.

The release comes 24 hours after YoungBoy lashed out at Future. While Future never publicly responded to any of the comments, YoungBoy appeared to double down with the release of the track rather than letting the situation cool off.

The apparent feud has caught many fans off guard considering YoungBoy and Future have collaborated in the past, most notably on “Trillionaire” from Future’s 2020 album High Off Life and YoungBoy’s earlier track “Right or Wrong.” Their previous working relationship has only added to the surprise surrounding the sudden hostility.

As of publication, Future has yet to publicly address the song or the lyrics directed his way. Still, social media is already treating “What Da What” as the latest chapter in what could become hip-hop’s next major rap feud.
