On the latest episode of Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, #WhoopiGoldberg opened up about the challenges she still faces despite her long list of accolades, including #EGOT status. During the conversation, Whoopi revealed she still has to advocate for opportunities, explaining that she doesn’t always “come right up” in the minds of others in the entertainment industry.

She also shared that #TheView isn’t the highest-paying job she’s had throughout her career. While she made it clear she enjoys being on the show, Whoopi admitted she might be open to walking away if she were making “that kind of money.” Whoopi joined The View in 2007 at the start of season 11, stepping in after Rosie O’Donnell’s departure. “A girl’s got to eat, and you know I never married well,” she added during the interview.
