Doing Too Much? Hairstylist Allegedly Charging
Clients Extra Fee To Book “Silent (Hush)” Appointment
Would you pay extra to have a service provider stop talking during your appointment??
A woman recently shared an alleged screenshot from a hairstylist’s booking site, calling attention to the stylist’s add-on fee for clients who want their hair done in complete silence. The “Silent (Hush)” option, described as “Absolutely no talking, relaxing sounds or low music if desired,” has sparked mixed reactions, with some dragging the stylist for charging clients not to talk (or be spoken to) during the appointment. However, others are defending the booking option, saying they understand why a stylist would offer a 100% quiet experience for an additional fee.
#TJBCrew, you know we have to ask — is the stylist doing way too much, or is paying extra for some peace and quiet actually justified? #TJBReacts
