Tupac Shakur’s Family Was Leaving Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis’ M*rder Trial When G*nfire Was Reported Near Las Vegas Courthouse

A burst of reported g*nfire outside a Las Vegas courthouse briefly drew a heavy police response Tuesday as Tupac Shakur’s family stepped away from the trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis.

The incident unfolded during the second day of Davis’ murder trial, shortly after Tupac’s sister, Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, and brother Mopreme Shakur left for lunch. Before leaving, Sekyiwa thanked reporters, saying, “Thank you so much for being here. For covering this. Thank you.

Moments later, officers rushed toward the area after multiple calls reported sh*ts near Casino Center Boulevard. Police searched nearby businesses, including a Starbucks, but said they could not locate a victim or confirm an active sh**ting scene.

From what I know, there was no one critically injured, at least at the moment,” a source said. “But there was some type of shooting incident.

The police activity did not interrupt the trial, and Tupac’s family later returned to court that afternoon.

Davis, 63, is accused of helping orchestrate the 1996 k*lling of Tupac following a fight involving Davis’ nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson. Davis has pleaded not guilty to one count of m*rder with a d*adly weapon.
