Kanye West Wants His Racist, Antisemitic Posts Excluded From Upcoming Discrimination Trial

#KanyeWest is asking a court to keep a jury from hearing his past antisemitic social media posts during an upcoming trial.

The case stems from a lawsuit filed by Benjamin Provo, a former Donda Academy employee who claims he was fired over his dreadlocks and subjected to race-based discrimination. Kanye argues the old posts are irrelevant to Provo’s claims and shouldn’t be admitted as evidence.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Kanye submitted a 919-page report cataloging the posts Provo intends to use against him. One is an Instagram photo Kanye posted seemingly of a KKK robe with the caption “Outfit of the day.” Other posts referenced in the filing include statements expressing support for Hitler and Nazism, as well as a separate post in which the rapper wrote, “I used to f*** employees in my office.”

Provo’s underlying lawsuit alleges Kanye and other managers at #DondaAcademy treated Black employees worse than white ones, including yelling at Black staff but not white staff, and claims Kanye banned books by Martin Luther King Jr. and other prominent Black leaders. Kanye has denied all wrongdoing, and the case is set to go to trial later this year.
