Popular Twitch Streamer BenDaDonnn & His
Security Guard Arrested Following Alleged Run-In With Texas Police

Popular Twitch streamer #BenDaDonnn, whose real name is Benjamin Beard, was arrested in College Station, Texas, following an alleged run-in with police.

According to #CollegeStation Police records, the 34-year-old was charged Sunday with evading arrest and given a $7,000 bond. Another man, 29-year-old Kenny Carter, who police say identified himself as BenDaDonnn’s security guard, was charged with interference with public duties and given a $4,000 bond.

Police say the incident unfolded as officers were clearing people from a roadway outside a bar and a group allegedly refused to follow their commands. An officer attempted to detain one person after they reportedly slapped the officer’s hand away, but another person allegedly grabbed the officer and interfered. Police say a “less-lethal tool” was used on the first suspect as he attempted to get away, while the second suspect allegedly pushed the officer to the ground. Both men were ultimately arrested, and authorities say a g*n was found on the second suspect. Police did not specify what type of less-lethal tool was used.
