LL Cool J Says ‘Your Value Cannot Be Determined By Your Bank Account’ -Says Social Media Focuses Too Much On ‘What People Have’
LL Cool J is reminding people that money should never be the measure of a person’s worth. During an appearance on the “Joe and Jada Podcast,” the Hip-Hop legend spoke about how social media has pushed people to focus heavily on lifestyles, possessions, and “what people have.”
“Your value cannot be determined by your bank account,” LL said, stressing that success should not be reduced to money or material things.
His comments come as social media continues to make luxury lifestyles, designer purchases, expensive cars, and massive bank accounts look like the ultimate signs of winning.
Do you agree with LL Cool J, or has money become too tied to how people measure success today?
