Tyler Perry’s “The Oval” Star Travis Cure Sued By Ex Who Claims He Knowingly Exposed Her To Genital Herpes

One of the stars of #TylerPerry’s “The Oval” is facing some serious allegations from an ex, who claims he knowingly exposed her to genital herpes without telling her about his diagnosis.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the woman claims she began dating actor #TravisCure in August 2024 and had no other s3xual partners from that point until she filed her lawsuit. She alleges Travis was aware he had the s3xually transmitted disease but failed to disclose it before they became intimate. She’s now suing him for negligence and battery.

However, Travis is pushing back against the accusations. In his response, he admitted to having herpes and confirmed they were s3xually involved, but insisted he always used a condom. He also disputed her claims about their relationship, arguing they were never “exclusive on either side.” According to Travis, his ex, who lives in #Chicago, was also hooking up with other men during the time in question.

Travis further claims his former partner was already aware of his diagnosis and only raised concerns after he ended their relationship and began dating someone new. He also argues there’s no way for her to prove he transmitted the virus to her, pointing to what he described as her “promiscuous s3xual practices.” The case is ongoing.
