Law Roach Reveals How He’s Putting His Own Spin On Client Kim Kardashian’s New Fashion Era: ‘I May See Her Different Than One Of Her Other Stylists’

Celebrity stylist Law Roach is opening up about his experience working with Kim Kardashian, revealing that the billionaire businesswoman knows exactly what she wants without getting in the way of his creativity.

During the InStyle Imagemaker Awards, Roach praised the SKIMS founder for being surprisingly easy to work with despite her established fashion identity.

“She is such a beautiful person and nice and easy [to work with]. She knows what she wants, but she also lets you create,” he told PEOPLE.

The celebrity stylist, whose clients include Zendaya, Ariana Grande, and Céline Dion, explained that his approach involves presenting Kardashian through his own creative perspective.

“What’s different about from stylist to stylist, it’s just our perception of who the woman is, right? And so what I’m doing with Kim, it’s just the way I see Kim Kardashian. I may see her different than one of her other stylists, and that’s the beauty about fashion and being creative, is it’s just perception.”

Roach described their partnership as “really, really, really fun.”

The two officially joined forces in September when Roach styled Kardashian for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opening in Los Angeles. She wore a vintage Fall/Winter 2004 Yves Saint Laurent gown designed by Tom Ford.

Their collaboration also follows Roach’s previous praise of the Kardashian family’s marketing instincts, particularly their ability to turn controversial fashion moments into cultural conversations.

For Roach, styling Kim is about bringing a fresh perspective to one of Hollywood’s most recognizable fashion figures.
