Halle Berry’s Ex-Husband Olivier Martinez Reportedly Storms Out Of Court During Heated Custody Battle, As Actress Denies Allegations She Abused Their 13-Year-Old Son

Halle Berry’s ongoing legal battle with her ex-husband Olivier Martinez has taken another dramatic turn.

According to Page Six, the French actor reportedly stormed out of a Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday (Oct. 20) during a hearing involving allegations that Berry physically ab*sed their 13-year-old son, Maceo. Martinez, 60, appeared visibly upset as he exited alongside his attorney, Patrick Baghdaserians. He was reportedly overheard using profanity during an animated conversation with his lawyer before returning to the courtroom approximately five minutes later.

The tense moment comes as Martinez seeks sole custody of their son after accusing the Oscar-winning actress of physically att@cking and ch0king Maceo during a September incident. Berry, 60, has strongly denied the allegations. Her attorney, Marina Beck, previously described the accusations as “entirely meritless and deliberately misleading.”

The former couple’s son reportedly testified for nearly four hours on Monday (Oct. 19), with the judge ordering the courtroom closed during testimony involving the minor. Berry also took the stand Tuesday, while her 18-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, is expected to testify later this week. Nahla previously defended her mother in a court declaration, stating, “I have never seen my mom h•t, sl@p, ch0ke, grab, or physically ab*se Maceo in any way.”

Martinez was granted a temporary restraining order earlier this month as the former couple continues fighting over custody. Berry is seeking to restore their previous shared custody arrangement. The actress and Martinez married in 2013, separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce in 2023.

The hearing is expected to continue Wednesday (Oct. 21).
