Lil Durk Accused Of Hiding Apple Watch In His Body Cavity As Prosecutors Fight To Keep Him Behind Bars
#LilDurk is facing some eyebrow-raising allegations as he fights to secure his release from federal custody.
During the rapper’s bond hearing on Wednesday (Nov. 4), prosecutors reportedly claimed he attempted to conceal an Apple Watch inside his “body cavity.” According to content creator Trap Lore Ross, who has been sitting in on hearings, the allegation was among several raised by federal prosecutors to justify conducting multiple searches of #Durk’s cell each week. Authorities have also accused the rapper of attempting to bring contraband into the Metropolitan Detention Center and “talking back” to correctional officers. An investigation is reportedly ongoing, with the possibility of additional charges.
The allegations come as Durk awaits a decision on his bond request. His proposed bail package includes letters of support from high-profile figures such as #JayZ, J. Cole, and Michael Rubin. Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald has yet to issue a ruling.
